1963 Studebaker Avanti R2 4-Speed
This 1963 Studebaker Avanti is one of 1,833 R2 examples produced for the 1963 and 1964 model years. It is finished in Avanti Turquoise over Elk vinyl and is powered by a Paxton-supercharged 289ci V8 linked with a four-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes power steering, power-assisted front disc brakes, Halibrand 15" wheels, fender-mounted chrome mirrors, a push-button AM radio, and a heater. The car was purchased by the seller in 2021, and service in 2025 reportedly involved converting the alternator to a single-wire setup, rebuilding the carburetor and brake booster, and replacing the power steering pump, control valve, fuel pump, fuel sending unit, water pump, clutch master cylinder, shocks, control arm bushings, and various brake components. This Avanti R2 is now offered with a copy of the original invoice, a parts catalog, spare parts, and a clean Florida title in the seller's name.
