Do wrinkle patches actually work? We asked dermatologists about the line-smoothing trend
This set comes with three pairs of smoothing patches specifically designed for the eye area. “These medical-grade silicone pads keep the skin taut so it can’t crease or wrinkle while locking in moisture,” Dr. Hadley King, board-certified dermatologist, founder of Dr. Hadley King Dermatology and clinical instructor of dermatology at the Weill Medical College of Cornell University, said. “In [the brand's] studies, 89% of women saw a reduction in crow’s-feet and/or under-eye wrinkles.” Since the patches are reusable, they have a better value than single-use patches. Wrinkles Schminkles notes that each patch is reusable up to 20 times, which comes out to a $1.50 cost per wear.
