Toyota Motor Philippines starts development of Antipolo dealership in Rizal
TOYOTA Motor Philippines (TMP), working with Toyota Taytay, Rizal Inc., has started development of a new dealership in Antipolo, expanding the brand’s network in Rizal as it continues to scale its customer support and after-sales footprint. The upcoming dealership, to be located along L. Sumulong Memorial Circle in Barangay San Jose, is positioned as part of Toyota’s push to deliver more accessible service coverage in fast-growing areas outside Metro Manila. TMP said the new facility is designed to support its goal of worry-free ownership through reliable service and an improved guest experience.Once completed, the Toyota Antipolo, Rizal Dealership will have a total floor area of 12,160 square meters, spanning three floors plus a mezzanine. TMP said the site will offer a full range of after-sales services, including express maintenance, periodic maintenance, body and paint services, and general repairs. The facility will also include a showroom with capacity for seven vehicle displays, as well as 37 service bays aimed at increasing service capacity for customers in the province.TMP president Masando Hashimoto said the project is a personal milestone and a practical expansion move as demand in the area continues to grow. “I have always hoped that a Toyota dealership will be part of Antipolo,” he said, adding that the new site will strengthen Toyota’s network and make service access more convenient for customers once it opens.Toyota Antipolo president Zellyn Lim Diaz said the dealership is expected to contribute to the growth of the local economy, creating jobs both during construction and once operations begin. Diaz added that beyond employment, the project is intended to provide long-term opportunities for skill development and career stability for residents in the area.Antipolo remains one of the most active growth zones in Rizal, driven by a combination of retail activity, real estate development, tourism, and micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). As the provincial capital and a key commuter city linked to Metro Manila, Antipolo’s traffic flow and transport demand remain closely tied to major road networks such as Marcos Highway and Ortigas Avenue Extension, which carry daily traffic to and from the city. With the new dealership now underway, Toyota strengthens its long-term bet on Rizal’s continued expansion — supporting the region’s growing car population not only through vehicle sales, but through expanded service capacity closer to where customers live and work.
