FORD Philippines is celebrating a double win based on the 2025 Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines Inc. (Campi) sales report, with the Ford Everest and Mustang each claiming the top spot in their respective segments. The announcement was made during a recent media lunch hosted by Ford Philippines for its first Ford Island Conquest event of the year, where Managing Director Pedro Simoes confirmed the milestone.“We are deeply honored by the trust our customers have placed in us, catapulting both the Ford Everest and the Ford Mustang to the top of their respective segments,” said Simoes. “Whether it’s conquering rugged terrain in an Everest or experiencing the performance of a Mustang, our customers are at the center of everything we do.”According to Campi 2025 sales data, the Everest Titanium+ 4x4 emerged as the best-selling model in the 4x4 midsize SUV segment, capturing roughly 40 percent of the category. It is a notable result in one of the most competitive spaces in the Philippine vehicle market, where buyers weigh off-road capability, cabin comfort, safety technology, and everyday usability. The Everest Titanium+ 4x4’s terrain management system remains one of its key selling points, offering six selectable drive modes — Normal, Eco, Tow/Haul, Slippery, Mud/Ruts, and Sand — to help drivers adapt to varying road conditions. The SUV also features an electronic shifter and drive-mode selector designed to streamline transitions between driving setups.Safety and driver-assist technologies continue to be major considerations for buyers in the segment. The Everest lineup carries seven airbags as standard, while higher variants offer features such as adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go and lane centering, lane keeping with road edge detection, forward collision warning, evasive steer assist, and reverse brake assist. On the other end of the spectrum, the Mustang led the sports car segment in 2025, registering a 32-percent market share based on Campi data. The result highlights sustained demand for halo performance models, even within a niche segment.Locally introduced in 2024, the seventh-generation Mustang is available in two variants: the 5.0L GT Premium Fastback and the 2.3L EcoBoost Premium Fastback. Both variants are now equipped with MagneRide adaptive damping, broadening access to the suspension technology previously exclusive to the V8 model. The GT Premium Fastback pairs a 5.0-liter Ti-VCT V8 with a 10-speed SelectShift automatic transmission, producing 493 PS and 567 Newton-meters (Nm) of torque. Meanwhile, the EcoBoost Premium Fastback uses a 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine with the same 10-speed automatic, delivering 319 PS and 475 Nm of torque.Additional highlights include Brembo brakes, an active-valve quad-tip exhaust system with adjustable sound settings, and 19-inch wheels with variant-specific designs. Inside, the Mustang can be specified with Recaro leather-trimmed sport seats, reinforcing its performance-focused character.Beyond the Everest and Mustang, Ford Philippines’ broader lineup — including the Territory, Ranger, and Bronco — helped drive total 2025 sales to 21,784 units, securing the brand’s fourth-place ranking overall in the industry.Ford Philippines is set to introduce updated variants of the Everest and Ranger in June at the Campi-organized Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS), further building on the momentum reflected in this year’s sales performance.
