Pundi X (NPXS) aimed to simplify cryptocurrency spending, envisioning a world where using digital assets is as seamless as using a credit card. The project's core concept revolved around deploying Ethereum-based Point-of-Sale (POS) devices, enabling retailers to accept NPXS, the network's native token, as payment. This initiative sought to provide accessible banking services in underserved regions, particularly in Latin America and Indonesia, where traditional financial infrastructure may be limited. The project addressed a significant hurdle in cryptocurrency adoption: the practical ability to make everyday purchases. By distributing POS devices, Pundi X intended to bridge the gap between digital assets and real-world commerce. The team consisted of experienced technologists and entrepreneurs, bringing together expertise in computer engineering, fintech, and business development. The development of the XPASS card, linked to a mobile app and wallet, aimed to further streamline cryptocurrency payments and allow users to choose the most advantageous cryptocurrency for each transaction.
