Compound (COMP) represents the governance token within the Compound Finance protocol, a decentralized lending and borrowing platform. COMP empowers holders to participate in the decision-making processes that shape the protocol's future. A key feature of COMP is the ability for token holders to delegate their voting rights to any Ethereum address. This allows individuals to entrust their voting power to other users, applications, or even DeFi experts, enabling broader participation in governance without requiring direct ownership of COMP. Anyone who has been delegated at least [DATA REMOVED] of the total COMP supply can propose governance actions. These proposals can range from simple adjustments to complex sets of actions, such as integrating support for new digital assets, modifying the collateralization ratios of existing assets, adjusting interest rate models for various markets, or altering any other configurable parameter within the Compound protocol.
